This spring our church will once again be sending people to help prepare Highland Lakes Baptist Camp for their summer season. Our first date is this Saturday, March 18th. Additional dates are April 22nd and May 13th.
The "to do" list includes:
- Cleaning out gutters
- Repairs to back deck
- Painting doors
- Sealing bathroom floors
- Cleaning dorm and retreat center roofs with brooms and blowers
- Servicing mower and weed eaters
- Repairing and painting the exterior of the welcome center
- Power washing the lake walkway
- Blowing leaves from around buildings
- Putting down fresh mulch on walkways and trails
- Golf cart annual maintenance
- Cut, split, and house firewood
- Deep clean all buildings
- Clean pool for opening
This is obviously an extensive list, but with 3 dates to accomplish it and lots of hands, it is easily achievable. A group will leave the church at 7am this Saturday. If you can attend, please click the link below to let us know if you will attend or not.
