At First Baptist church, we have an active Children’s Ministry every Sunday morning and every Wednesday night during the school year.
Our purpose is to evangelize, disciple, teach, train, and provide opportunities for children to learn to serve God.
We get the curriculum from Master Club in Milford, Ohio. Master Club is a program for designed for kids ages 5 years old to 6th grade. We, also, do several different special events every year. At least 4 during a school year. One of the high lights is a Pine Car Derby race every spring. Feel free to visit masterclubs.org for more information and to view all the material that we use.
We also have kids junior church during Sunday morning worship time. It is a time that we do the same thing the adults do but on child’s level. We have a lesson, sing songs, and have a snack time at the end. We will do special lessons with the older kids that is age appropriate. Occasionally, we will treat the kids to a movie. The ages for junior church are 1st grade through 6th grade.
